Telekinesis
Launch saw blades, rail spikes, and other objects.
Pyrokinesis
Absorb fire and burn foes and parts of the environment.
Hell Chains
Tear opponents apart. The chains are fed by Suffering from executions.
Telekinesis is the throw. Saw blades, rail spikes, and loose objects leave your hand and become the weapon. The achievement Headtaker asks for 3 or more enemies killed by a single telekinetic throw, so a clustered group is the practical test of this power.
Pyrokinesis takes fire in and sends it back out. Foes and pieces of the environment can burn. Twisted Firestarter asks for 10 or more enemies killed by burning, which means the fire has to be the cause of death rather than a chip of damage before a gunshot.
Hell Chains tear an opponent apart. They are fed by Suffering, and Suffering comes from executions. If the chains are dry, the loop is to finish an enemy with an execution, then spend that Suffering.
Throw with Telekinesis when enemies are lined up.
Burn with Pyrokinesis when fire is already in the room.
Spend Suffering on Hell Chains after an execution.
Puzzle use and the people around the box
Aidan carries the box while he tries to get his girlfriend Sunny out of the Labyrinth. When you are not fighting, the box changes parts of that realm and solves puzzles. That puzzle use is separate from the three combat powers, so a locked path can move even when Suffering is empty.
The Scarlet Church, led by Marlowe, wants the box. Priests, deviants, and cultists make up that faction. The Cenobites are the other ordered group: Pinhead, voiced by Doug Bradley, plus Chatterer, Butterball, and the Female Cenobite. The Unworthy are people Leviathan refused. Leviathan rules the Labyrinth.
The Genesis Configuration trailer arrived on 20 May 2026. The 17 September 2026 demo already put the box, the Labyrinth, and the Scarlet Church in a player's hands, along with combat, crafting, and puzzles. The full game released on 8 October 2026.
Two configuration achievements sit on this power set. Headtaker is the throw. Twisted Firestarter is the burn. Chains, executions, and Suffering do not have a separate public achievement. Pain pillars and suffering pillars are their own pair, not configuration achievements.
Using each power on purpose
Telekinesis is the throw you use when a saw blade, a rail spike, or a loose object should become the weapon. Headtaker, at 6.7 percent, asks for three or more enemies killed by one of those throws. One victim is short of that badge, so the useful moment is a cluster standing in the path of the object.
Throw with Telekinesis for Headtaker when three foes share one line.
Burn with Pyrokinesis for Twisted Firestarter until the fire itself is the cause of death.
Execute, then spend the Suffering on Hell Chains, then execute again when the chains go quiet.
Pyrokinesis takes fire in and sends it onto foes and onto parts of the room. Twisted Firestarter, at 26.4 percent, wants ten or more enemies burned to death. A burn that only softens someone before a gun finishes them is a different kill. Leave the fire as the cause when that badge is the goal.
Hell Chains spend Suffering, and Suffering comes from executions. The chains tear an opponent apart and go quiet when Suffering is empty. Hell Chains have no achievement of their own. The two configuration achievements are the throw and the burn. Away from combat the same box changes parts of the Labyrinth and solves puzzles, which is how Aidan moves while he tries to bring Sunny out. Marlowe's Scarlet Church wants the box. Pinhead, voiced by Doug Bradley, stands with Chatterer, Butterball, and the Female Cenobite. The box trailer arrived on 20 May 2026. The demo on 17 September 2026 already included the box. The full Windows release is 8 October 2026 at $39.99.
